One Dead in Shooting at Colonial Square Apartments in Atlanta, Georgia

ATLANTA, Ga. — Southwest Atlanta Apartment Shooting on Old Hapeville Road Leaves One Dead. Authorities are investigating a shooting that occurred Monday night at an apartment complex in the Browns Mill Park neighborhood, leaving one person dead.

Police responded to Grady Memorial Hospital, where officers confirmed that the victim had succumbed to their injuries after being transported for medical care.

According to officials, preliminary information indicates the gunfire erupted at the Colonial Square Apartments, located at 2637 Old Hapeville Road SW. Investigators have not yet released the identity of the deceased individual, and no information regarding a suspect has been made public.

No arrests have been made at this time, and the investigation remains ongoing.
